About Me

My name is Amber, but online I am know as Medli. Don't actually know how long that will last, but that name has been with me for almost three years now. I am 24 years of age, born on August 3rd. I currently live in Kansas, USA where I am attending college as a senior at the moment. I am majoring in English with a concentration on writing while I am also minoring in Communication with an emphasis in journal.

I have quite a few hobbies. One hobby is writing anything regarding fantasy. I currently run a site off my domain called Expressions to display my writings. At the moment, most of my fanfiction is there. Some of the fiction that I am finishing up are ones that I am thinking about sending off to see if I can get them published. Others, well, they might just be posted at my writing site just for people to read.

Another hobby is web designing. I have been web designing for about six years. It started when I moved during my junior year of high school. I hated where I moved to. The school was twice the size. There was a site on the web that allowed me to compete using something that I loved: fantasy. I started on Geocities and lasted for about six months before becoming hosted. It wasn't till I convinced my mother to allow me to get my own domain that my designing started to grow bigger.

My third hobby is video games. I love playing them. My favourite series happens to the Legend of Zelda series. I have the whole sereis including the Master Quest set to Ocarina of Time. All of my games have been beaten plenty of times. I also love the Final Fantasy Series with FFVI and FFX being my two favourite. Kingdom Hearts isn't a game that I play, but I do love it just as much as the other two series. My sister owns this game and I just love watching her. I rather watch than play. She does it so much better.

Speaking of family, I do have two younger sisters both who are in college now. I also have a little schnauzer puppy name Toby plus a fat cat named Soxy. We do own another cat, but he is getting pretty old that I am not quite sure if he is around anymore. His name is Blacky.

About Pixelating and Site

I started pixelating about three months ago in the middle of April. I was just messing around with Photoshop when it came to me that I wanted to create a small unicorn to show my collection of fantasy. At first, I was pretty terrible at it. I am still pretty bad at it. I keep trying, though, and some of my work does keep improving.

This site has been an idea of mine for a while. I saw many people that I exchange journals with that were members of of the The Q*Bee and thought it would be neat to join. My site isn't like many others. It doesn't have the best graphics or the most talented pixelated creatures, but I do try my hardest and each one is made uniqually different.
